I see a vision of a filter that examines the post made and if the (for example) "signature how to"-filter matches, the poster has to verify that he's read the signature FAQ before the post is allowed. A little semi-auto moderation filtering
Maybe leave the tab under UserCP for "Signature" (even when they can't have one), and when they go there, just tell them they need more posts. Problem is that becomes rather tricky on the backend the way it works.
just make it turn off their computer everytime they try to add the signature before posting their 10 Or at least mess with them like tell them to hit alt+f4 before continuing. LOL
Just did my first FAQ ever, the mod_rewrite one. You can look at it at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=23044 If FAQs like that one ever did get sticked, there are two downsides. 1. After 480 minutes (8 hours) it can't be updated, ie edited. 2. The max size a post can be. Yep, that's right, the size of the FAQ is EXACTLY 10,000 characters!! LOL!!!! So even if I was able to update it, nothing else could be added to it, but could only reply and add stuff there...for 8 hours!!
Since I got a great response for the mod_rewrite one I made an AdSense FAQ . It's well over 10,000 characters so I couldn't post it, and this way I'll be able to keep updating it. If it's possible, could one of the admins/Moderators edit my mod_rewrite FAQ to ******* I've made an FAQ that shows how to change your URLs from dynamic to search engine friendly static URLs using mod_rewrite, do 301 redirects, optimize apache and a few other things. Read the FAQ, and then if you have trouble making the URLs search engine friendly, make a thread. To make it easior to get an answer, include both the current URL, and the URL you want. ******* Then I can keep updating it and adding to it. Thanks.
