    He's most probably doing it for to avoid the taxman, and get good free publicity for himself and Apple. Look at all the attention he's getting just because he announced his $1 salary. Plus now he gets to sponge off his millionaire friends as a joke, he gets to complain that Apple is underpaying him and they have to spot him a fiver.
