i know thats saudis are sooo fricking rich that they don't even work a full week also they don't miss a prayer
You got the first part right...they are frikkking rich. They own the awesomest cars, and their villas are huge too. Obviously not all saudis pray all the time...but yeah, compared to other countries...you can find a mosque here in every other block, sometimes a very small one too..but you would find one. Also, during the 5 prayer times (5 prayers for Muslims), all the malls, all stores and shops and the petrol pumps are closed down. That makes more people to pray at prayer time and the business resumes once again after the prayer is over (which lasts about 15-20 min).
But more or less it's like Jailed and Liberal....(which i guess has been proved/argued/proved/disproved/abused/fought quite a number of times)
you got that right ... haha Not the Jail part ofcourse xP but its a never ending debate, and one could only experience the truth if he/she lives in Saudi Arabia for a couple of months. But yeah, somewhat close to JAIL for girls...not much freedom. but they got the hi-fi american compounds which is like a piece of the US in Saudi Arabia with strict security guards and not everyone is allowed in there...so yeah.
Other than the fact that they have a democratically elected government... urban Pakistan is very modern and hip... women wear whatever they want.. they can drive.. girls and guys can hang out.. they have theaters.. in short its nothing like KSA
thats a very interesting question actually. I too sometimes wonder how it must be to live in Pakistan, especially with so much unrest in the country these days. but I m sure its definitely not what many people must think... All this is very interesting, cuz recently I met a palestinian in a Counter Strike server and after talking to him,I learnt that Palestine is not all rubble and broken houses that which is shown in the news; thats just Gaza and some other parts of the country...but I guess Im deviating from the topic of the thread
Seconded. KSA and Pakistan aren't similar...but I think partly Afghanistan and pakistan might be (correct me if I'm wrong) .. not completely but some places IMO Wonder how much different it is from India though So much up roar in the country, especially at the time of Benazir Bhutto's assassination ...
Afghanistan cannot be compared to Pakistan. Pakistan is way more technologically advanced and have much higher standards of living than Afghanistan...
