A logo must be memorable. An effective logo must be memorable thought you have to keep it as simple as possible. You have to follow principles of simplicity and make it as unique as possible. For example - Logo if 'nike'. Thought it is very simple but it is unique and easy to remember. A logo must be enduring. An effective logo should endure the test of time. It should be effective even after 50+ years. A simple and unique logo is a 'future proof' logo A logo must be versatile. An effective logo should be versatile. It must be effective on all mediums and surfaces. For example- It should look good on computer, letters, black and white surface etc A logo must be appropriate. A logo must be appropriate and reflects the company it is made for. It must be correctly positioned.
