Steps to promote new content

    Here's what I do to promote new content, either blog posts or new content to my main site:

    I use ping.fm to ping my url to social bookmarking sites such as:

    Twitter
    Facebook
    LinkedIn
    Tumblr
    Blogger

    Should I be using other social media sites as well, or any other websites like digg....technorati...sp?

    Guest blogging is writing posts for other blogs within your niche. For example I have written a few for Technorati and also for BloggingPro.com.

    I would also suggest adding links to your content on BizSugar.com and StumbleUpon.

    To promote your blog you post your content to other social media site like stumble upon, Digg, Delicious Jump Tag etc. Search more social media bookmarking site to Google and post it to everywhere.
