I am new to posting stuff on this forum, but I thought I would share some tactics that got me to my first month to $1000. It took me around a year to get it and it was not easy. Here are some things I did. - I use Google keyword tool and tried to find the most searched for terms in my niche which is health care. I then start to create detailed how-to guides on topics. I tried to make the guides very detailed. I seen on this this site: http://www.quicksprout.com/2013/12/04/11-seo-changes-that-will-give-you-big-results/ where he talks about creating articles that are 2000 words, so this is what I did. Also, I used: http://www.opensiteexplorer.org and put leading site in my niche in this site and then they have a way in which I can see the top pages that have brought them success. This is key because now I knew I could create content that should be good, since it worked for this leading site. Then I can also see who linked to that content and ask them to link to me. This is a tool by http://moz.com I used the tool: http://followerwonk.com and found some influencers in my niche and I told them about my article, I contacted around 50 but only 6 responded and tweeted my links. Every week, I would write at least one article and some articles I included a PDF for download and used: http://mailchimp.com to sign my users up for an auto responder. The only other thing I did was to setup an affiliate program with OSI Affiliate Softare http://www.osiaffiliate.com and then as I got new customers I would automatically sign them up to become affiliates, so they would promote my product. I started this back in February but I am happy to report, I have now reached my first $1000 month last month. I hope this helps someone. The key is to make sure you write great how to guides and to use followerwonk to contact the right influencers. When you contact the influencer, keep your email short. Just point to your resource and ask them if they think their audience would be interested in it.
