In another thread I got a lot of pm's asking me if I can share steps how I can accomplish this and if its even true - these steps could be redundant for experts but hopefully useful to some -- please if you have some additional techniques please share: 1) Pick a CPA or CPS offer from a network (CJ, CB, Neverblue, Azoogle, Hydra, MaxBounty). 2) Research on keywords for that offer and see its competition - this is the key. You can try paid spy tools or free resources for this (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1357261). I do both and surprisingly do find kw from free sources that do not show up on paid tools. 3) Write down the kw and adcopy that will work. For adcopy ideas type the kw in search engine and get ideas from your competition (do not blantantly copy). 4) Create campaigns (will focus on google). I start with 15-20 kw only and have several adgroups in 1 campaign. For long tail that you found in step(2) I create 1 kw per adgroup and for others I put them as broad match type into another adgroup. The reason for the other kw into broad is that I'm trying to track what kw perform and which don't. Write 2 ads per adgroup each and rotate them, do not let google optimize. 5) Make sure you do tracking at kw level, there are several ways to do this - via a php script or you can use tracking202. 6) Ask your AM to add the google's snippet code to the thank you page. If you use tracking202, they can give you one and provide that to your AM. This way you know exactly what's performing. 7) As for how much to bid per kw - I would say google's keyword tool overly suggests the amount but i will not bid more than $2 per kw. If you find something that you are confident will do well, my suggestion would be go long tail or deeper at the kw level so that you get less impressions but better conversions. 8) If you did start high, monitor your kw and check your avf cpc. I ususally check this after few days and bring down my cpc to avg cpc + penny. For some of my less expensive kw I go in and see the ad position within google itself and adjust it higher if its below 1-5 positions. 9) Set your campaign budget to what you feel comfortable. Also it depends on the payout amount of advertiser. For example I set it higher for someone paying me $60 per sale compared to someone with $10. 10) If the merchant allows I direct link to see the conversions but then move to landing page. This helps me to know that my adcopy and kw are working. Then I spend some time designing a landing page that is google compliant. One important note: Do not just change the display url and destination url of already existing ads when you convert from dl or lp. This will make your CTR 0 and leading google to think you started from scratch. Whenever you want to do the last step, create a new adgroup with same kw and adcopy that works plus the new url's. Remember you cannot use 2 diff urls in same adgroup anymore so thats the reason you have to create new adgroup when converting.

PPC will eat your lunch if you don't know what you are doing. It is not the best way to go for green marketers. Blogging is one of the best ways to sell products. Of course, you need to know what you are doing to get traffic, but it won't kill off your bank account.
Absolutely true.We sometimes continue without even noticing our wallet is getting empty.Before you engage in any business make sure you know atleast the basic or much better know a lot of things.
PPC, while difficult to get into initially, can really be your meal ticket once you understand how to set up and test campaigns. It all comes down to trial and error though. No one is going to hold your hand and GIVE you a profitable ppc campaign.
It depends on your interest I guess. I have learnt and monetized with PPC and continue to do so. Yes there is learning just like everything else, however PPC is easy to get started.
I'll bet $20 the guy makes nowhere close to $350 per day. Those steps (while somewhat useful) are incredibly amateurish.
Yea, you're better off just creating your own digital info product that teaches people something useful and selling that, so you can get affiliates and get all the other benefits of having your own product. PPC on google and yahoo is rough, you need a lot of experience before it becomes profitable.

i said it before I'll say it again, The internet is a big world, but with so many fish fighting over the same food source... Too many people are lazy and want to make 'easy' money on the internet. So they learn for a few weeks, whip out the same crap and then complain. How many replies here did I see in your signature the same thing? like uhhh, GO GET A JOB!!!!! HOW MANY BEGINNERS GUIDES TO SEO, PPC ETC DO WE NEED?!?!?!? AHHHHHHHHH I think 'WEB 3.0' will be cutting up the internet from one big problem, into managable sections. All the people here could be successful if there was a way to limit their impact to the local regions. Ok some are not trusting me if I really am making this much and some are out-right attacking me that these simple techniques cannot work and will not work to make $350+ PER DAY. I have updated by sign to show you the proof. I have screenshots of 2 campaigns running betweek April 20th 2009 to May 25th 2009 - very new. In 1st campaign I make $5564.16 NET -- its after advertising expenses. In 2nd campaign I make $7005.70 NET also (after AFTER expenses) Total I Make in 35 days $12569.86 or $359 per DAY. Yes it's from the same techniques that I have mentioned in the thread. Stick to principals of adwords and you can make it huge. Some are bluntly blaming PPC and saying you'll loose your shirt doing this. Yes you will loose in PPC and anything else you do if there is no methodology and you start blindly. PPC is more risky than anything else, but by the same token more profitable and quick that anything else. Again the proof is in my sign.
how much should I have to start ppc? and how to be accepted in cpa networks? I'm asian and having a hard time to be accepted in big cpa companies like hydra...
