I love Stephen King, his books are awesome. I'm reading Cell right now, man, it's awesome. He's a great writer. I've listened to (on tape), Dreamcatcher, Needful Things, and am listening to Desperation. Oh, and I listened to Pet Semetary (wasn't it spelled with an S on the book?), but I remember very, VERY little. I've read From a Buick 8, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, and The Dead Zone. Has anybody read/seen Needful Things? because I can't find anyone who knows anything about it. Yeah.
do you know to combat his alcoholism he used cocaine for 8 years and wrote 4 books he cant even remeber writing....... true story...
Heh, learn something new every day >< I've just started to get into Dean Koontz books ^^;; I'm reading The Door to December now.
Actually, it was for 12 years, but I didn't know about that "can't remember writing" thing. You see, my Dad is listening to "On Writing" by him, and Stephen King talked about that, and my Dad told me, so that's how I know.
I've read Needful Things. I've actually read almost everything by him, except for The Cell and the last few books of the Dark Tower series, which I will be getting around to one of these days.... he is an awesome writer, and I enjoy his work very much. I started reading him when I was like 12, so I've pretty much grown up on the guy.
I have read The Dead Zone, thats about all i have read by him. I like Dean Koontz i just finished reading "Whispers", i recommend it..its a very good book.
Man I'm reading that book RIGHT NOW (as I type) it is so cool. Probably one of his best books, I was reading it last night, I stopped reading because I was getting too scared. I admit it, TOO SCARED.
Scared? I'll read it sometime then, I'd love to get scared by a book but I never seem to be... PS. This is my 500th post! xD
Hot hot hot. You're at 505 now. It was only scary because it was late at night and in the book it was late at night and there were "phone-crazies" on the loose.
Needful Things is one of my absolute favorite books. I have read just about everything that he has ever written except for The Dead Zone and Cell.
