I am wondering if there is a resource, ebook, group ect, out there that will give me step by step , set up type instructions for affiliate marketing. I have been accepted into Azoogle. I am excited to try some of the pay per action affiliate marketing, but I feel lost.
I know I need a website, but what needs to be on there? and what should I use to build it? And how do I get traffic there.
I am a member of wealthy affiliate, but I do not think it has helped me all that much... any feedback would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

You look like you could really do with alot of reading. Paul Borque from uberaffiliate (dot) com has an Affiliate Marketing Guide page, go read that up, post by post.

You first need an offer or a product. Join a network and search for an offer to promote. Before promoting it, check out demand (search terms / month - use Wordtracker's keyword tool), and check out supply (competition in search results).

Then you need to determine your traffic model. Will you use paid search (PPC), e-mail marketing, banner ads, article marketing, etc. Read up on each if you need a more detailed explanation what are they. After deciding, you need to drive them to your landing page (website).

That's the gist of what you need to do. Nobody is going to spoon feed you in this business. There are plenty of guides out there. Read up on Internet Marketing blogs and find out what people are doing, then do it. Spend less time in DP forums and more time doing it, and one day, the shit you throw on the wall might actually stick.

I'm not surprised to hear that you feel you haven't gotten much out of Wealthy Affiliate. I felt the same way a couple of months after I joined their site (some time ago); but that's only because it took me awhile to realize that what prosumer86 just said: you need to read, read, read. Unless you pay them, nobody is going to take your hand and guide you completely through to $1,000/day status -- and claims of anyone doing so, even when you pay them, are dubious at best.

That being said, there's TONS of information on the Wealthy Affiliate forums, and much of it is very valuable. There are some great posts that can give you a good start -- http://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/wa_forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=28708 is a good one to start with. I'm not saying that Wealthy Affiliate is the end-all-be-all either -- Digital Point and other online forums likewise contain very valuable information for the astute learner (and many like DP are free!).

You should also take notice of the progression of any given forum you're reading before following advice given in it. For instance, some are scam artists doing nothing more than trying to get you to purchase their items. While affiliate marketing through forum signatures is an acceptable method of internet marketing, overt advertisements in the form of posts that don't offer any face value should be ignored; while a succession of helpful posts by those who have climbed the forum ladder through post numbers might deserve more attention.

All that being said, while I'm not specifically endorsing WA I am saying that I've found a lot of information on their forum that has helped me tremendously; particularly in my understanding of how internet marketing works. After reading everything you can on WA and DP, here are a couple of WA-related things you can keep in mind:

    1. I justify my membership to WA by performing services for other WA members in their jobs database. Since I'm a good copywriter, I can make money from WA because the competition pool is much smaller than many other job banks.

    2. From what I understand (though I haven't tried this myself) Kyle and Carson will personally help you if you're struggling. Before you quit your WA membership, you might want to try that. In fact, it would be great if you did try that and reported back to us on how it went -- it would be nice to know if the personal support is there as they say it is when you sign up.

Well, that's my two cents -- perhaps I've offered valuable insight; or perhaps I'm cluttering DP's database. :) Either way, it is what it is! Good luck1!
