Hello Guys, I have been trying to build a community for steam account holders only, which means you will need a steam id to sign up to my community. i tried platforms such as xenforo and ipb so far. Xenforo i used http://xenforo.com/community/threads/steam-authentication-integration.27790/page-10#post-355544 it works flawless if your steam profile id is something like http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198075134 as it calls for the profile id in the xenforo addon. Now if you have a public profile id, something link http://steamcommunity.com/id/username then it wont let you login, as there is no id in it. I have been asking around for someone to help me fix this but no luck IPB : They have a similar mod Steam Login v1.0.4 but the problem with this is, it doesent fetch anything from steam, but it sure does log you in. Now i cant find any support to find a way around this to build a community, anyone who has any knowledge ?
