Steady increase in serps and daily changes

been watching google and it seems on several site i have slowly been gaining in serps daily and results are varied every day.. anyone else notice google doing some updates and changes that don't seem to be based on some big pr or bl update?

 

Yea, I see the climb, but # of index pages has dropped a HUGE amount, but serps are rising. That seems odd.

 

i a also a bit puzzled by this .

Yes i agree I up dated a site and it jumped up 20 in position the next day. then a day later with out me touching my site droped 30 in position... whats up with that?

Yes I can see important changes on the keywords I track every day.

 

I have noticed that was well, I have even seen my pr dissappear and then back again,

I did a search before and then now and things are always switching, I suspect something is going on

 

Afraid I have yet to see any strange behaviour from Google regarding my sites.

My backlinks are showing 3 different sets when I check multiple DC's. Like things have been rolled back to before the end of last year.

Also, when I check my URL in G, I get 'Sorry, no information is available for the URL', but if I check it with site: query it is there.

 

I think what you're actually seeing is different results from different datacenters.

 

I think I agree with MountainLife.

 

One of my keywords actually went up about 15 spots yesterday and another one keeps jumping back and forth between 10th and 60th. I'm not sure whats going on lol.

Not sure what is going on, seen changes every single day without fail, far more rapid indexing, serp changes daily for everything.. something interesting is going on and it's alot of changes for not being pr or bl updates...

 

One of my best performance site has been literally attacked by Google, with ranking 5 and appeargin as number 1 in the search results, it suddenly disappeared from the index several days ago, then coming back... up, down, with thousands of links back one day, and just a dozen the other.

I don't know what is happening but this is really weird, indeed.
