Staying within your Niche??? Need Help!

    Greetings,

    I have a question open to anyone with experience about creating 1 or a few pages of links and content outside of my niche on my Site.

    The real question is, if I create a couple pages for free offers pertaining to plama TV's, gift cards etc. and my main content centers around home business, will this affect my rankings with Google. Or in other words, if I travel outside my niche, will I be penalized. I have seen other sites that have done this, but would like a proffession opininion from someone here, that has experience with this.

    I apoligize if this is in the wrong thread or has been discussed elsewhere, but I just did not know how to search it.

    Use subdomains, google allways see subdomains like individual sites.

    Thanks, but the problem is that i am using SBI and they do not provide subdomains. I like their site builder however, as they have worked well for me. Maybe cheap hosting elsewhere is the answer. But I would rather just add them to my Site!

    your rankings and such are based on your site in general with a majority your content. If you just add a couple pages of mostly graphical info about plasma tvs google wont even know the difference really

    Hello Riviera,

    The best possible thing to do would rather be putting the other offers in flash. This way the purpose would be solved. Cuz otherwise if you put live links of other unrelated sites on your site google may penalize you for bad neighbourhood. Chances are pretty less, but you never know with the big G, so why take risks.
