    Dear Friends,

I have been observing my account as well as many of my friends account has been fallen prey to the latest Facebook Viral Spam called the OMG Youtube Video Spam.

    How it works:

It tags you in a video (screenshot of a youtube video hyperlinked elsewhere) and sends you message from all your fooled contacts saying :" OMG what are you doing in this video" or similar quotes and you tend to click on it doing the same to your contacts as well..

next time you see this report it as spam and keep your accounts safe.

    Warm regards
    Joshu

well, i now this is spam but it gets you viral! Black Hat? Grey Hat? mmm, actually i got a copy of this one, but just a trial, it runs from your PC to send the message. It's really cool, and it really gets your site exposed to thousands.

Thanks for the heads up. I think it's not the only kind of massive spamwares in Facebook today. Some also uses encouraging ads that will temp you to click on their links. That's why you should also alwasys check your privacy and application settings to see which application has full access to your account details. Third Party apps should not have that full access.

    Yes, That is true.
To stay safe and clean on FB, they have a good feature of asking for authorization before giving access to any application or external traps. so make sure if you cant view something and it is asking you permission, its not simply a video or a image - it could be spam.

    Cheers
    Josh
