No, dude. Not the local authorities.
Me asking about where they are from does not mean I'm callin' the sheriff on them...

I've never heard of them or any scams on them. Just curious and seeking proof.

Seems like a lot of smaller networks blame DT for their lack of knowledge or know how on running the system. If a car crashes you dont blame the car you blame the driver.

Market Leverage is.. small? Wow haha. What do you consider big then?

Anyway this is getting way off topic.

    Try calling them or AIM.

You'd be surprised man. A lot of the major companies do this, and though I don't know this as a fact, it makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Major companies look at traffic rather than leads.. If they have an affiliate that's bringing in some serious coin, you better believe there are guys within the company that are going to take a peak at the site, method of traffic and other things.

This is why it is important, especially when dealing with CPA based networks, to hide your traffic source and cloak your links.

A lot of us don't even realize people are jacking traffic sources because they don't make it obvious - and spread it out amongst all their top earning affiliates.

Don't forget.. affiliate networks are run by affiliates, just like you and I. It's dog eat dog.. so protect your shit, and you'll be okay.

Stealing leads is messed up though.

Hiding your traffic source is considered blackhat by many networks. don't do it, you will get flagged.

Use something like Propser202 although it's not 100% perfect. Best way is a double meta refresh with checking to blank or Javascript redirect to "fake" the referrer.

Are you serious? I guess you haven't been in the game for very long..

Ah that must suck =/ Well just letting you know I've been paid by countless networks for the past few years with blanked traffic. Heard of PPV? There is no referrer. Blanked referrer is also used for protecting where you get your traffic, I sure as hell don't want my AM's to know where I'm buying my banners or what keywords I'm using so unless you do, blank your traffic.

Well this look like this all got work out and they are sending me a check. It turn out this was not xy7 fault and more so the way netflix process leads in mass. And yes they do pay on time it was just this offer and looking back the campaign did state something about process leads.

Thanks for the tips. I am always worried that I am going to do blackhat stuff or break merchant TOS with this kind of thing (without even knowing I'm doing it!).

Like, I totally went crazy with link exchanges when I saw people doing it. I did not "know" that this is considered to be a no no until several months later. OUCH!

I bet I will do better once I connect a little privacy.. I have had some suspicions/disappointments on some campaigns in the past. Spent lots of money, got lots of clickthrus and didn't earn a penny. Probably, readers were uninterested, but there's always that doubt that lingers in the back of a marketer's mind. You know? ;)

And, even if I don't do better - I can feel more secure!

I had read on trying to protect aff links in the past, but the guidance I got was that I would need to create a separate html page for each campaign, ------ I don't think I can handle all that! (?)

Very confusing when you see people say DO IT - and other people saying - DON'T DO THAT!!

    j33¯/_

PS. How do you ever "know" somebody took your sale? This is the part I'm not able to understand.

Most of the affiliate companies filter some of the leads for themselves. But I've never heard of xy7 being excessive :(

This has been all work out and the mistake was on my part. They paid me the money they owe me. The tracking issue was my misunderstanding on how it work and was 100% my fault and there system works 100%.

Netflix is one of the only offers we have that is not updated in real time. If I had known you were talking about that offer I could have told you that awhile ago :p

I have a list of the different campaign descriptions and types on my blog. You might want to check it out so in the future you know when your leads will be tracked and how:
    http://www.xy7millions.com/description-of-xy7-campaign-types

I am happy to see this has all been worked out :)

I think this is just a misunderstanding and nothing malicious.
