I do not think EGold is a Scam at all, you should provide some proof or reason to why you think it is a Scam. There are websites where you can get EGold Credit, you may have got Scammed or had a Problem with one of those website, they are not actually Officially Linked with Egold. I love EGold, it is more safer than PayPal to do trades as there are no ChargeBacks, so if the person your trading with goes first, your really safe.
E-gold has been in business for quite a while now although I must admit this is the preferred payment processor of scammers.
I signed up egold account few weeks ago. I am getting the same error as well. I dont have fixed ip. I think it is a bit inconvenient for me because I have to try a few times just to login. Anyway I am not using it as main payment processor.
E-gold is the one of the best payment processor i have ever used and if US closes it down then i think e-bullion would be the only choice left until FBI get there hands on that one too.
Yes, you can have your e-gold account. Simply sign up a free account on http://e-gold.com You may fund or withdraw e-gold through exchange providers. There are some exchange providers listed on e-gold directory http://www.e-gold.com/unsecure/links.htm
I hate e-gold because I spend money to Buy e-gold then later I still have to spend money to Sell them lol
I've been using egold for years now.. I know it's a great processor but I've been getting that message lately, that my ip is exploited. It's funny because I know my network is very secure. Not sure what's up with that.
Never had any problems with egold myself. I have heard of peoples account getting blocked and stuff but they certainly aren't scammers (Egold I mean)
E-gold is not a scam, however they are being indicted by the US government for supposed money laundering charges and child porn offences (ie. they let it happen). There is no way to know to what extent this is true, as it is also likely that the US government isn't too happy about a gold backed currency on US soil. Whether e-gold will come out of this at all is unknown yet. There is already a replacement concept coming into play - one I think has some potential. The development site is at loom.cc and it allows for 100% anonymous transactions. Whether that is a good thing or not, I'll leave you to decide. One of the best sites around for all this kind of information is DigitalMoneyWorld.
