Dec 05 2007 18:45 I paid a montly membership fee to have access tot he scripts, currently I don't have access to the items in which the membeship was purchased.

I have a domain name and a webhost which can be verified

    blaqhq.us

I have a webhost already as well

I will not provide my user name and password to my hosting account because that information is not to be shared just like my account information withy your site is not to be shared

So please explain why I can't download the scripts and install them myself?

and I have been calling your company since 8 am eastern standard time and it is now 7:41 pm eastern standard time and no one is availabel to take calls in sales or your support department, that doesn't seem good

If my ability to get the scripts is going to be a problem then you must explain to me how I can get a refund

I have not accessed none of your scripts as you know it wont allow me to download anything

No where on your site that I have read that said I was required to give my webhost log in details as a only means to getting your scripts

I want to give you atleast 24 hours to resolve this before I make an attempt to contact 2checkout.com to get a refund if you can't resolve this issue

Your refund policy doesn't apply to me because I was not able to access your scripts period, not able to download or anything

your scripts have not been transfered from your site to my server so you refund policy is not valid in this situation

There has been no electronic transmissions so your policy does not apply

Closed You can not manually download scripts because that is not our policy.

All sites are installed using the installer.

We have had members join and download all 500 plus sites and do a charge back.

    The installer keeps everyone honest.

I myself can not give you a refund.

Contact the webmaster for a refund.

I read your page well... what your saying now is not what is listed on your page and your not making any sense

in your FAQ area it makes mention of being able to install the site on clients sites as well, being able to install it on my own server

    I have used installers before

example...your are offering a tweaked up oscommerce scripts, open source script that is and it is free from the developer but the script comes with an installer - I don't need to give you my account details in order to use the installer. Your comments donot make sense and you are not being wise

I came to this site and paid for a membership - there are numberous people offering your scripts for free and nulled, I opted to pay for your services and attain your scripts the right way... one a person obtains the scripts they have it, the only other reason you want to obtain customers login details would be to control the scripts remotely

You can not use deceptive practices to trick people into purchasing your memberships under false representation then change policy, rules and attitude once you received customers money. I have a business as well and I have access to the internet and I can warn people of what really occurs when they pay for your services.

If people do not receive what they paid for, in my case a membership that allows me access to web scripts that I can put on my on server and install myself then I am entitle to a full refund

Maybe I will have better luck with built2go scrips and hope you are not the same company

I requested a refund and will get it because by the own admission of their tech person I can not download anything

Dotcombuilder.com are thieves and and they never answer their telephone..they only respond by email - their policies are significantly different after you have paid for their service and the testimonies on their website is fake

I feel people should know what kind of company they are and I intend to post my experience on multiple forums

No misunderstandings, I asked specific questions before I paid for their membership

No one should have to give their login and password details of their domain to dotcombuilder or any other site selling scripts. I know how to install the scripts myself and I have also installed scripts with installers provided with scripts.

Dotcombuilder has an online installer that specifically requires you cpanel log in details. I don't need them to install anything for me I can do that myself. I paid for their membership so I can access their scripts

The also restrict you to 5 downloads a day but actually you are not allowed to download anything because you will automatically be taken to an online installer which will install the scripts for you.

If they have issues about their scripts being pirated or stolen all they have to do is encrypt them

I am so disappointed with them I am seriously thinking about going to built2go.com

I feel if I pay for a membership to something don't play games with me to try and control everything I do

Since no one else is willing to do a real review site on these sites that sell scripts and offer script memberships I am going to do one myself I recently got a review script and I am going to allow people to really speak their minds about what dotcombuilders, built2go, popscripts, prozillas and every other site exist

Most review site that currently exist are sponsored and they moderate post and don't let alot of things that people post be revealed, I am here to change that!

I took out a one month membership of dotcombuilder about 6 months ago - and I cancelled it within 30 days as I found that all the products I tried were not great quality, ie. a search engine that wasnt a search engine, a directory script that wasnt SE friendly and so on, so basically it was a waste of time for me.

REGARDLESS to that though, in your case I do beleive that you didnt read the full TOS before you took out your membership, I can totally understand that they insist that the scripts are installed by their installer, to prevent them then being sold here on DP!!!!

so I think you should just cut your losses and forget about this one, chalk it down to experience, and remember to read the details fully before paying anything out next time
