hey guys, just opened a paypal account last month.
why is it there's a certain case that i receive a payment from someone, whom i didn't know. though it's only $3.
but right now, the status of that transaction is Unclaimed. there's an option for me to click on "accept" or "deny". can you give me an idea? or maybe someone is just trying to trick me? lol.

i prefer not to click on "accept", previous transaction that i had, same as with this, was questioned by paypal since it is not authorized.

hope you can answer me. thanks. :)

If you see it in Paypal then it is a real payment, it could be either because the payment is in a different currency then yours or if it is from a credit card payment and you are using a personal account.

If you do not know why someone sends you the money then just refund it or talk to that party and find out why he send you. Are you selling anything ?

I suggest sending an email to the contact email listed under the payment details and finding out why they sent that money to you. This will show you if the person's intentions are good, mistake, or ill-sighted.

Trust your instinct and just Deny the money. It is only $3 and all the hassles would probably be worth more than $3 of your time.
