Status of the Sitemap is Always Pending?

    I see the status of Sitemap in Webmaster tools account is always pending. Total URLs in Sitemap, Indexed URLs in Sitemap and Last downloaded by Google are displayed as blank spaces. I dont understand why it is showing?

    Hi,

    I think you might have not act according to the guidance for submitting a sitemap. You need to verify your sites via inserting some codes from Google or uploading a txt file from Google.

    Yes he is saying right might be possibility u need to verify ur site in GWT
