I have a site http://www.headachecure.org/ which suddenly stopped working ( Domain Registrar : Namecheap)

I thought some problem with my host but checked every thing and all was fine.

Then i changed my host and still the site is not opening.

I just checked the whois http://whois.domaintools.com/headachecure.org to see "Status:CLIENT HOLD"

the domain still has 8 months to expire.

Can anyone help me out in this ??

I found all these things :
Sorry, I could not determine the IP for www.headachecure.org (error 11004).
    Better to contact your registrar.

Yep, you should contact your registrar. This "client hold" status is decided by the registrar. There will be no DNS resolution possible as long as the status remains unchanged.

holy crap man how long have you had this site?

it could be that maybe the past owner is fighting that they didn't sell the domain name??? or maybe your payment bounced...it's hard telling

    but good luck

in my understanding...no, not really.....they just offer the service to purchase the domain...they don't actually "own" the domain...sorry donno how to exactly explain that

Not 100% positive, but make sure that all your information is correct as far as contact information listed with ICANN pertaining to that site. If it is found to be incorrect in any way, ICANN can revoke your ownership of that domain name. Also make sure it is in a locked status so that it cannot be activated for transfer, I have had people attempt a transfer of my site before in the hopes that it may be unlocked and I didn't stop it. I'm not sure about NamesCheap though, I use NorthBoard.com to handle all of mine...doesn't NamesCheap offer a 24/7 tech support?

To a certain degree that's true. But if you read their legal fine prints, you'll see
what area/s they do have a say on.

Technically "client hold" means any online service attached to the domain name
won't resolve. Administratively it's because a legal issue occurred.

Invalid WHOIS, spam complaints, or even upon receipt of notice of an upcoming
legal dispute, it could be anything. As long as you emailed either one and gave
as many specifics as possible, then give them roughly 24 hours to respond.

It's even possible their registrar partner enom was the one who did that. A few
people have complained online about enom shutting down their domain names
    for spam or phishing complaints.

Try contacting enom, too. For all you know, they're the ones who did it.

Here's a dirty little secret: most domain providers don't offer 24/7 support for
complex issues like this one. It does cost money to give such service, especially
if there's a pending legal one.
