Hi I have many web analyzer on my website, Statscounter,Woopra,google and clicky. but all of them is show different result, I found Clicky and Woopra doesn't a report about UV. I know google analytic is the best but I need live stats/update like Statscounter, I know about ad free stats but it's suck because I can't make my own user name, does any1 know what is the alternatives? or Statscounter is good enough?? and I have many visitors without referral link nor search engine (it's direct traffic) I just wondering how this visitors found my website??? Try taking a look at PHPMyVisites - I've recently started using it and it seems pretty good. It's easy to install on your own server and from what I can tell it gives live details. You can find more about it here - http://www.phpmyvisites.us/
I'm not sure if this will solve your problem with Direct visitors. If the just enter the URL in their browser, nobody can track them. Except for GA and MS Analytics if you had them visit before through a campaign and they have a cookie. Then they will be tracked to be loyal visitors and will be linked to the campaign you were running. Also some system assign visitors coming in from StumbleUpon to direct visitors and other will assign them to being referred from StumbleUpon.
