Seeing as the browser used by your viewers can impact your CSS/HTML design, I'd be curious to see some hard stats about the browsers that viewers use when viewing your website and the niche that you appeal to. I thought about this as I browsed through my Google Analytics data and came across some interesting numbers. In general, I'm pretty sure that IE still has a massive piece of the market share, but my site's statistics are skewed in the opposite direction. My site is mostly about web development/web programming at the moment. Of the 4,500 visits in the last month or so, the user's browser breaks down like this... 66% - Firefox 23% - Internet Explorer 5% - Opera 4% - Safari A tiny smidgeon of old Mozilla, Konqueror, and a few others. Including one user on a Playstation 3. So, what do your stats log look like? Anybody else have such a skewed set of results in favor of Firefox? - Walkere
My main site animetower is as follows: Firefox 53.49 % Explorer 7.x 26.08 % Explorer 6.x 12.79 % Opera 9.x 4.07 % Safari 2.67 % Mozilla 0.65 % Explorer 5.x 0.14 % Netscape 4.x 0.07 % Opera 8.x 0.04 % My site seems to lean more on the FireFox domination idea
