Hey guys... I just signed up for CJ today with the intention of signing up people on Ebay to make money. On the eBay page I clicked "text links" and scrolled down to the very bottom where it said eBay! Under that I clicked text link... and then get HTML.

    <a href="http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2978-3/1?aid=2202639&pid=2583568" target="_top">eBay!</a>

This is what it generated for me. I copied the http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2978-3/1?aid=2202639&pid=2583568 part and pasted it into an IM window with my friend. He is new to eBay, and clicked the link, signed up, confirmed it, and made a bid and bought an item instantly. I checked my CJ stats on the main page 4 hours later, and it still says

    Quick Stats Edit, Hide
    Web Site All web sites
    Period Yesterday
    Commission earned $0.00 USD
    Sales 0
    Leads 0
    Clicks 0
    Impressions 0
    CTR N/A
    EPM N/A
    EPC N/A

Did I somehow generate the link wrong? Or did I completely screw something up? Thanks for the help guys. =]

CJ are often a bit slow with their stats, give it 24 hours. Your PID is in the link, so it should have worked.

You sure your friend isn't using a cookie blocker/killer?

In my case, the click is showing, but no commission..
My friend clicked, signed into his account then bought an item. Past 24 hours and nothing..

Probably had a cookie blocker/firewall up that misfired or blocked the pixel

ebay does batch updates, which is a little different than some of the other CJ affiliates.

A lot of affiliates update every hour with new sales, whereas ebay can take up to 2 days (but rarely does) to post updates.

Very often they will go back and reupdate totals as well. For instance Monday, almost every hour sales were being updated for them, but then Tuesday night I noticed my totals went up, but nothing new for Tuesday. More credits were added to Mondays.

On a side note if you contact ebay about this, it usually takes several weeks to get an answer. If you do not provide spefic info (times, IPs, etc) they probably will have nothing to tell you anyway.
