Stats log

I'm pretty new to running a web server. Well it's a shared server of course to start. Anyway I can get nightly awstats through the host's cpanel, which are good stats.

I can also just download the server logs whenever. So I'm wondering if there is any way to download the logs and put them through some program to analyze them on my own computer, instead of just once a night.

Thanks in advance for any help...

They have a free version and a pay version. The free one doesn't tell you keywords used to find your site.

If you have access to the raw logs you can do just about anything you want to with them. If you happen to have a decent workstation running some sort of *NIX, you can setup you own awstats and run them wnehever you like. I'm not sure about windoze solutions.

    Awesome,

I downloaded the WebLog expert program, and it's exactly what I was looking for. And actually, I definately will try to set up awstats on my own computer at some point going forward, it just seems a tad complicated for tonight.

    Thanks much for the help.
