    I think this is not due to stock market drop. This is mainly due to visitors has decreased to your site all those days. If you niche about stock market means it may decrease if it is not about stock market means it is full due to lack of visitors to your site.

    yeah, it wont have anything to do with it, as at the very least advertising budgets havent had the necessary 3 to 6 months to be revised. top500 companies that have been affected are also not a huge chunk of the PPC advertising bandwagon. so unlikely....

    Advertisers budgets are not connected to the stock market
    Website visitors dont click (or not click) based on the stock market

    You really shouldn't watch the stock market to much. I remember one day one the BBC saying the london stock market was in a crash and at the end of the day the ftse was up 2%. Companies would not suddenly reduce tehre advertising budgets due to a couple of days of bad trading. Actually I doubt if any advertisers even look or care what the market is doing when they are placing there ads.
