stating Adword but problem is

    adwords doesnt need approval, it should start automatically. try find out the problem, maybe you didnt give a credit card number

    They should state the reason why the ads are not running. They normally display some messages above the campaigns information.

    Best thing to do is asking the Google Adwords support. Log in to your account and ask them, they normally answer within 48 hours.
