    Hi,

Fresh content wich comes from comments (f.i. blogging) cause the SE spiders to crawl the site more often they say.. What I've learned about SEO is that in order to optimize a page for the engines, it can take a while ... it needs right keyword density, targeted keywords , titles and headers... and so on ....

Simply said this means that one has to moderate the comments ona blog in order to optimize a blog ... But my quesion is about how effective the optimization of a static page is in comparison to the optimization of a dynamic / changing page ...

Can anyone exmplain that to me ?

Any SEO benefits from a static site are negligable.

How many of the top ranking sites are dynamic? Most of them.

the strongest sites on the web are one's that add new content every day....

I've seen a lot of sites add a simple rss feed to the bottom of the page and think that's enough....you need to add more pages to the site

A dynamic website can be easily achieved through a CMS (Content Management System) that will not only push your website a step towards a better value on the web but also save your time on administering / updating the content. Joomla / Mambo, Drupal, PHP-Nuke, Typo3 are just a few names worth checking..

thanks for the links, thegypsy. I think I am pretty happy with the way it is. I have tried some modification on my blogs and spent so much time, but I only wasted.

It seems SEs like joomla based sites a lot regardless of SEF or not. I am not too sure why, but I have experienced this on my own. Any comment on that? By the way, I recommend to use it for SEO purpose :)

All content is static in the eyes of the search engines and search engines see each http:// address as a separate document. Ponder this Grasshopper. There is some deep and significant insight in that statement. And remember, when you can snatch the SERP from my hand you will be ready. :)
