Static URL Question

    A 301 redirect should ensure that all existing keyword links to the dynamic URL of the page are passed to a newly written static URL, however,

    1. Should future link building to this page use the newly written static URL?

    2. If yes, is the SERP for the page with the static URL determined by;

    a) only subsequent one way links to the static URL, or

    b) a combination of existing links based on the previous dynamic URL and the new links to the static URL?

    It's amazing what writing a question does, because I think I have just answered it. I think it would be to link build to the new static URL and its SERP would be a combination of existing links redirected to the static page together with on going link building to the new static URL.

    Am I right in this?

    Yes, we all know that static URL is SEO friendly, but if you want to build a big site then you have to take help of dynamic url!

    However, I don't know Wordpress URL is static or dynamic which is in this format www dot abc dot com/finishing-machine/.

    Is it static URL or dynamic URl?

    I also have seen ? mark in Wordpress URL, but it can be changed my making writable something in your admin area!
