Static site plus blog on root subfolder – separate site maps or not?

    We have main static HTML site www.example.com and dynamic blog on blog.example.com are two different properties in Webmaster tools with separated site maps.

    Now, we have migrated blog.example.com to www.example.com/blog, added new property in Webmaster Tools console and submitted site map.

    Should we have one site map for static www.example.comn and WP www.example.com/blog or keep them separated?
