Can a WP blog be remodeled into a static site without losing internal links? Can this health blog (WP) be changed in a portal like Mayoclinic ? Existing posts would be changed into static pages like this.
Create your homepage and then go to Settings then select Reading. Under Front Page Displays select "A Static Page" then from the "Front Page" dropdown menu select the page you created. Then go to Settings then Discussion. And under Default Article Settings uncheck Allow people to post comments on the article. It'll still be a post, but it'll look like an article. And the static front page will take care of the rest.
