I have three sites hosted on the same shared webhosting, www.adguru.org www.jobscat.com www.hexforex.com Now, my question is all my sites are not properly indexed by google, adguru.org have 16,500 pages in google http://www.google.co.in/search?hl=en&q=site:adguru.org&meta=&aq=f&oq=site:adguru.org and jobscat.com have 16,400 pages in google http://www.google.co.in/search?hl=en&q=site:jobscat.com&meta=&aq=f&oq= Earlier it was 20,000 pages then it reduced to 18,000 and now 16,000 around. My question is whether static IP will help? Do I need static IP for all the sites or just for 1? Please check my websites, there are thousands of pages that are not indexed by google. Any help will be greatly appriciated.
I've read claims attributed to Google, that they don't rank a site on a shared IP any different that a site on it's own C-class IP. Personally I have some trouble believing that, though. I can't really see how they wouldn't take a site more seriously if the webmaster has gone to the trouble to set up the site on its own individual C-class IP. There may be a variety of reasons why your pages aren't indexed, however. You may have duplicate content issues; Google may consider some of the pages to be too 'spammy'; there may be too little indexable text content on the pages; etc. One thing you can do which is generally considered to be a solid way to improve your Google rankings, is to register the domain names for as long a period as possible. This indicates to google that you have serious intentions for the site. Quickly looking at your forum sites, I see a huge number of topics with very few replies. This would likely be a red flag with Google.
You have come up with a very good point about registering the domain for a long period of time, however, this is the first time I've heard about it. So I will put it in a seperate thread. I need to know more.
