That doesn't seem to be malicious I guess the contractors were curious about such a well known man but such incidents speaks of the need to have more control over one's files. What will happen if it is state secrets instead of Obama passport file?

it seems that they do not want to identify the contractor or the individuals involved. i have not formed an opinion on this as of yet but it seems that the public should be informed about which contractor was involved
I agree, in the news they are vague in that regard. It seems like the news media may have been instructed not to say, because you know a good reporter is going to ask. Tell us if you find out.
Even it is only for personal curious,I do not think the solution is not accepted by firing and disciplining the contractor only,the government shall train their employees and tell them respect taxpayers' privacy.
