Hey guys , is there any limitation on State Bank Of India's Personal Banking. Limitation regarding the amount of money you can keep in there. I have read somewhere there is a limitation of 50 Thousands rupees ,is this true. Can any SBI user [Personal Banking] please tell if there is any such limitation. Thanks.
Thats not true. But in recent days Indian banks are practicing variety of things. For example to deposit amount they are asking ATM to show up.You can deposit only 5 times in a month in HDFC.You will be charged extra 100 if you want to deposit there after for each deposit..bla..bla..so Nasty..
How can a bank charge or put any regulation on the number of times amount to be deposited - it is sure some ill-policy.
Its not fully implemented in all banks and all branches..but sure they are doing this.A friend of mine lost 300 Rs to HDFC.
That is for cash deposit at nonhome-branch. You can deposit cash in your home branch any number (unlimited time) IMO. Check with your branch for the same. DON.
Actually I have been there with my friend in HDFC bank,Eluru. He actually holds the account in the bank.Manager assured him the three hundred will be credited this time back into account. But said never do that again. what can I say ? just weird..
