Statcounter or Google Analytics, which do you prefer?

Which one do you think is more accurate?

 

I'd go for Google Analytics. More reliable in my opinion!

 

of course google analitics. it's free for full options and google does not want a link to google web site

 

I prefer http://www.sitemeter.com. Much better than statcounter.

 

I prefer statcounter because I've been with them longer they've just grown on me!

 

I really like w3counter, but they only allow you to do one site for free...

my analytics and awstats differ by nearly 300%. what gives?

 

I use both

 

A perfect mix of both is the best way to go.

when you want quick look at traffic... go to statcounter.
and when you are free and wanna do some in depth analysis... go to google guys.

 

analytics is the best option, it gives all the data you require and is pretty much reliable also. but then, i also use the adsfreestats, that's my best alternative to analytics!

Analytics is great and they have just improved a bit

 

They are almost the same... but I prefer using the google analytics....

Well I use both service but I still like Statcounter servcies very accurate and real time updates.

Google's stats and Statcounter's stats always different.

 

FWIW: sitemeter is rumored to be dropping some real annoying tracking cookies.
