    I think google was putting some websites PR manually because Youtub got put back to an 8 after being a 3

    I just saw it my self also, its PR10...I don't want to speculate things but I think its not permanent. PR these days is something like SERP ranking, a Google dance.

    My point is who actually cares what statcounters PR is, does it benifit you in any way? No.

    Who really cares about PR. If it was gone, then all this link buying, Googles penalizing my site, I hate Google Stuff will be gone.

    I was glas of the PR update cause all of mine went up.
