stat counter

    i want to display the unique number of visitors to my website in homepage.
    i am thinking of www.statcounter.com

    are there any softwares or websites that provide good services for my requirement?

    There are loads, but why look further than statcounter? It is pretty great for a free service!

    statcounter is good if you only want to display the stats on your page.
    but if you want in-depth info and stats about your visitors, try google analytics.
    (www.google.com/analytics)
    but u cannot use GA to display data publicly on ur site

    I agree with the above post. Google Analytics is worth a go. And thats free to.

    Of course, there is nothing to stop you running both on your site.
