try all video lessens in google help: adwords section
if you are experienced with google analytics it will be a plus because adwors interface is similar to analytics

when it comes to trying out adwords it is always better to look at the help section. there are lot of tips in it. just start with the low budget and gradually increase.

Actually, if you have some experience the best way is "jumping in" and start slow.

I think that there's no substitute for experience really. Start on a relatively small selection of keywords, low campaign budgets and you'll soon pick things up.

Trawl through Google's own 'Inside Adwords' blog too. Lots of interesting stuff there.

I'm biased but check out my new book at link below.

    To mongc:

All major search engines have a self-serve PPC (pay-per-click) program where advertisers create ads and select the keywords they would like their ads to be triggered on. Google's program is called Adwords. These ads are commonly called the sponsored results. Only when someone clicks on their ad does the advertiser pay (hence pay per click).

Adsense is simply Google's name to the program where a website owner can put up ads (from Adwords advertisers) on their site and make money when visitors click on these ads. This is done simply by inserting the code Google gives you into your pages. Google handles the rest.

    To iliefcd:

I don't believe Google allows ads about gambling.

So the main point of adword is : get some traffic/improve sales , & adsense : earning money
    Is it true??

Related to this, how much should I expect to put in per day for a successful campaign?
