When we start out with a website you need to understand that the keywords you have optimised the site for need to be in Google and you have to build up inbound backlinks to your site for varied keywords.

For example if you were optimising for "designer shoes", the keywords could be
    • cheap shoes
    • designer shoes

You would ideally go to a womens website or shoe related blog and put the anchor text in the user name this gives a quality backlink, but it has to be relevant. No good putting a shoe link on a TV blog!

The first week, build around 100 links, then the following week do 150, gradually building up to 800 links per month.

One of our fellow uses comes up with a good way to get quick backlinks to your home page (you CANNOT have deep links) that works.

Do not build too many links too quickely otherwise Google will penalise you.

    Hey mate....

For new domain ..i would suggest you to be slow....

Dont make more then 4-5 back links pointing to your domain in the first 2-3 weeks...

Google may take it seriously and penalize you for this...

    Thanks
