Just a quick question about starting threads in the "Buy, Sell or Trade " forums.

I want to be sure i dont get on the wrong side of anyone, so i thought i'd ask first.

Are you allowed to start new topics advertising a product/service which you have already started threads about in the past?

I want to try a different sub-forum in the "Buy, Sell or Trade" and was wondering what DP's policy is on this?

I started the original topic about 2 weeks ago, but i think it will get better exposure in a different sub-forum.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

If you report your initial thread and ask for it closed you can then start a new thread.
You've got to be careful not to do this too often - if you do it's tantamount to bumping your own thread. Once every month or so should be okay, but remember to ask for the previous threads to be closed first.

As CB said above, you can get your thread closed.
    OR
You can report the thread and ask Mods to move it in other sub-forum (where ever you feel it belongs to). :)

You are not allowed to continually close threads to start another one to avoid bumping or duplicate thread infractions. Make each thread once and only once in most pertinent category. If you post in a category that is not the best fit, your thread will be moved and you will receive an infraction for thread started in wrong category.
