Well, I'd really like to start off with CPA as at the moment about 98% of my revenue comes from AdSense and I've had enough of the insecurity. I've read that a lot of people in this part of the forum at least make the $2000-$3000 profit per month quite easily using CPA in Adwords and Yahoo? I would like to get into this type of marketing as well and I'd have some $1000 to invest into testing the market but I'd like to know what the safest and best way for someone to start off with CPA offers is. I know there are all the Adsense secret websites, but what are some helpful ones for CPA marketing? The closes I've come to CPA so far is this horoscope site which was ranked naturally, using white hat and have eventually sold it. But I want to 'convert' myself from this all SERP thinking to try other quicker methods. I probably should stick to what I know best, but I don't want to be Adsense dependant .

I just started with CPA. Currently using adult stuff. It works out ok. Esp anything that is free etc. i use cecash.com . However the problem (unless you live in the US) is localised ads. As in azoogle and commision junction are all certain countrys only.
There are a few ways that you are able to promote CPA offers. For me, I do PPC advertising with Google Adwords and the other will be setting up niche sites just to promote these offers. PPC advertising will bring you fast results but if you are a total newbie, you must prepare to lose some of your money due to experiments. As for the second method, it will be a slow and steady way and is recommended if you are good in building links and SEO. Some other methods of promoting CPA offers include banner ads on authority sites, email marketing and forum marketing. I don't know if AdSense is going to be "quicker", with AdSense your visitor usually converts pretty quickly after arrival (they click on an ad after browsing your site). With CPA your visitor may not convert until several days or more after visiting your site, the advertiser or network you are working with will set a cookie with your affiliate id on it to credit you with the conversion. CPAs will have a longer spend recovery window than CPC/PPC.
