Hello, what should you do if you will want to make a site in a country where isnt much webmasters, but the country is very rich. People have much money, most of them has visa card or other CC and then can pay online etc... There is no high number of competitors etc... With site would you make ? maybe a blog ? maybe a big portal ? Give me your propositions about your idea. With site would be a sure money maker ?
I would create online shop at your place. What kind of produst would I promore with the help of the site? Those which are popular among rich people: some products of luxury and prestige.
Ah I forgot, I would not do any e-shop, only affiliate if I would build a shop. I think about adsense earnings and affiliates at most. So e-shop isnt very interesting for me.
Go pitch your idea to a venture capitalist. With big money comes big idea. I would recommend a craigslist clone. It has worked in my country.
I read one of your threads earlier. I think you are just approaching this all the wrong way. I'm not saying you have to be passionate about what your selling necessarily, although it certainly helps. However, do your market research. It sounds like you might be on to something, but what are people there interested in? Is there a service or information that they currently don't have much access to that you think is in huge demand? Do it! Really, you have to look at the market for your answers on what will work, not what others are doing in the United States.
I'm thinking this guy's right. I'm sure its been mentioned here a lot, but the google keyword tool would be a start. I would also see if you can get a small site and up and running with a few pages of content and check with the major search engines to see if your getting ranked after your SEO efforts (this will be covered off elsewhere too!). Maybe something user generated, local based, or a niche that caters for a large enough group of people would do well. Without knowing the country etc hard to say.
I think the style of the website is not that important.The content,that is,the service or the product matters.In such situation,an insight into the market plays critical role.
Forum, blog, maybe? It is hard to say. If people were sure about which website can bring you money, they wouldn't tell you. Rather, they would build that site and make the money themselves. You just have to look around the forum and read the posts to get an idea on what works and what does not work.
