Starting new campaign on a very tight budget

Hi! I just started working with AdWords recently. I have an online store that sells vitamins and other dietary supplments. I work on a very tight budget $200-300/month. Does it even make sense to advertise through AdWords? If so should I rather focus on 1-2 items, make an ad group for every category in the store or maybe advertise just store itself? Thank you for your help

I would campaign by category, this way you can see which categories convert the best and have the best ROI so you can associate more spend to those areas.

Also do product based bidding vs category bidding. Meaning dont bid on dietary supplement, because click volume and CPC is going to be high. Instead bid on widget X since its more targeted and has a higher chance to convert since the visitor already knows what they want

I agree. The way to do it is to test in batches. So choose a product or category and only focus on that at first. When you find you converting keywords, then weed out the losers and move on to the next product/category. You can control your budget much better this way.

You're going to run into a lot of "pharmacy" exceptions for this. It's still possible but their filters are really going to annoy you... :)

It wasn't too bad. I believe it happened only once when I tried to use word "tablet" in my ad.
