    Hello,

I trying to start a local business here in my town. I want my website to be relevant to my local business and not the whole world. I'm having a hard time finding keywords searched in my area.

Is there a free keyword tool for local area search results?

I have tried using Google insights for search and have not found a single word searched in my area in reference to my business. Maybe I'm not doing something right?

I have a cabinet company and I can not believe no one in my area is searching for anything in this area of business.

The crazy thing is that if this is in fact true I do not need a website I would guess?

    Any help would be thankful,
    Shane

If you want to search city wise or state wise then it is difficult to find any such keyword tool, you can have tools that can suggest on country based search. for citywise keywords add city name as prefix and suffix with generic keywords.

There is a campaign-level setting to target only a certain geographical area, whether a country, state or city. That's what you need to do.
