Starting graphics design

Basically I have been coding for around two years and not focused much on design and done everything purley in html, and css for design. I was wondering if people could link me to some good tutorial websites or books that will help me start of designing.

EDIT: The majority are signature tutorials and I am looking for more web layouts espically 2.0 layouts. I might try a few signatures though to get a bit of knowledge.
