I am starting a forum in conjunction with my main pet site. It will have exactly the same design and will start off small with only three sections: News/Announcements, General Chat and Pet Chat. I will be very active and post at least 10 posts in the forum each day. Do you have any tips about this idea?
Ive done that just recently on my football site, my main site gets around 2000 uniques per month so i thought a forum would do alright, the site took off much better than i expected, the forums hwoever havnt. Unfortunately in around 2 weeks i have about 10 members 5 of which are/were staff on the main site and 2-3 are paid posters but the site looks fairly active so im hoping that will help the forums but it doesnt quite seem to be doing at the minute. Ive always had problems getting forums active.
