Starting Email Marketing

I'm starting my mailing list few hours later. But I want to learn a lot before starting it to not put my self on bad situations of mistakes later .. First of all, I'm in need of each advice from you, or anyone who have experience with it.
First thing I want to know, is if it's better to integrate it on my blog (coffeecupbreak.com) like a page on it, or to create a different directory, a white page that looks completely separated. Secondly, I like to know which is a better domain for emails, I mean, Emails should be sent from @chaibialaa.com (my name) or under @coffeecupbreak.com, cause I may use the list for selling and showing things unrelated to coffeecupbreak ..
I'm going to offer Tips to get free followers, tips for automatic submissions, tips to get 20$ free facebook ads (really work), tip to get a free credit card and how to how to make money online within 2 hours on net . Do you think it's a good service to make many subscribers ?
