A friend of mine is going to start an online casino here in Costa Rica. I´m trying to help him get set up and started right. Where do you get software to build a turnkey site?
Their hard work, you could end up loosing a lot of money. I think the part you need to watch out for are the casino bots. But Good luck.
Thanks, I normally don´t get involved in online gambling, but LOVE the concept me and my buddy came up with.
I don't know where you get software but really you should have ones where odds are selectable. Poker sites are the best, they never lose money - they even offer free deposit/withdraw cause they get the rakes...
unless you have a good chunk of change in the bank to back up your funding, breaking into the casino market is extremely hard. And getting people to put money into your site is even harder, not to mention the online casino bans in the USA. This is just a bad time to start up a casino online, theres a higher chance that you will fail than make it, Leave the casino stuff to the rich companies.
High failure rate, coupled with high investment dollars = not a wise investment. I'm all for following your dreams and all, but you have to know when its not practical to take the risk.
Well, my friend is determined to do it, just trying to find the best way for him to start without getting hurt.
For probability based games, use a different setup initially than you will after you're established. More of a solid system to ensure people win sometimes, and in dramatic amounts, but not more than they spend. Try and have it roughly equal out until the userbase picks up. I know it's slimey, but so is online casinos. Also, make sure you track how often players play with eachother. Limit it so that people can't just always stay on with a buddy, and torch the rest of the players. For skill games(poker, etc) Make sure you take a % cut of all winnings, not compete with the players. That way, you know EXACTLY how much you're getting. After that, I'd reccomend HEAVILY marketing an affiliate program, with really incredible deals for the marketers. Like 50% lifetime profits per referral. I'd also market it to blackhats. Without them, an online casino doesn't have a chance nowadays.
