Starting Affiliate Marketing? Should I use AdWords?

    I am thinking about starting affiliate marketing. I have a ClickBank account...

    Now, I am just wondering what you guys advice? Do you think I should use a PPC like AdWords? Also, what free ways can I do it? Thanks!

    Well, PPC offers you immediate, controlled results. A longer term method would be to write articles about your niche and submit them to directories such as ezinearticles.com and so on. In the author resource box at the bottom, you would have a link to your site

    If you do use adwords or similar you need to set yourself a strict budget, you obviously have to get it worked out where the returns from the affiliate programs outweigh the adwords budget.

    I think its very easy for people to end up out of pocket without enough planning.

    If you want the free way, I suggest you to use Squidoo and Ezinearticles to promote CB products.

    I agree.

    Squidoo can be used to promote ClickBank products in a few different ways.

    You can have the CB product as the main focus of the lens, as in this example http://www.squidoo.com/bruxismcure

    You can promote the CB product as something that can be used in conjuction with another product, as in this example http://www.squidoo.com/buy_iphone

    You can promote a CB product that would interest people who are following a current item of interest (news, sporting event, TV show etc), as in this example http://www.squidoo.com/dancing-with-the-stars-season-6
