I want to learn about Keywords... but it takes so long for those goddamn videos... I want a readable file =( So much faster. Guess I'll gove bug someone for explanations.
Any examples of good banners? Like I said, most material I've purchased simply say banners are not a good idea, so I have turned them off and just put texts...any examples? This is the second time someone has told me to put a banner.. Thanks!
Erm, hire a gfxer. Graphics designer. Banners are best original, so people like 8everything are the best to turn to for cheap, effective banners.
I disagree with almost everyone here. I say invest your time in visiting as many sites as possible and find out what you as a page viewer want in terms of design, content, navigation..etc. The more you understand about the reader habits is the better you will be able to earn money off of Adsense. I love DP don't get me wrong better a background in webdesign helps out a lot more than DP forums, mainly because a lot of people here either ask questions about sites that aren't making money and the ones who answer those questions refer to a niche problem. Learn the art of making a good website and you'll be fine.
Thanks for the great thread, you guys are awesome But this banner thing really has me confused now. Are we talking about banners on my site at urbanmonk.net for adsense? or Urban Monk banners on other people's sites? That comment about getting a graphics designer really confused me now.
Banner as in an attractive picture at the top of your site, containing your Logo, something to do with site, etc.
