Does anybody have experience in being part of a Writing/Forum Posting Team. I was thinking about this, I just want to know if it is profitable, and how much work is there? Just any information you can suply me would be great, thanks a lot.
I actually know several sites that do this. I am not sure how good they do but I've seen quite a few people interested in paying to have their forums populated, I personally would not use such a service, but I am sure there is room for new people that are willing to provide quality posts at an affordable price to start up their communities.
Sounds like a great idea. I'm sure you could do well with a team and it'd be easy to start off new forums and get activity going. It'd be an amazing job to be a designated forum poster, especially if the content was engaging. Let us know how it goes! Also, if anyone can post a link to the home site for a similar team, that'd be really appreciated. Thanks & Take Care!
I tired to start up a writing team once, to no avail. I'm still interested in being apart of a writing team, however.
Yeah, I just don't know what to do if I did start one. Like I want the whole team to make at least $20 a day.. that would be like $600 a month. So, I'm still doing my research.
First you'll have to find interested writers, then you'll obviously need to find out how good they are, and what topics they can write about. You'll then need to find consistent providers of work. You'll also need to work out a payment system. Does everyone get paid directly from the client for what they've done? Do you take a cut out? (not recommended) What rate will the team be writing for? Lot's of questions. It'll get done if you find the right people to join up with, however. Everyone must have IM, and be on consistently, and around the same time. You'll also need some type of forum, and a billing system, and a work tracking system, and a payment system. Are you going to be doing invoices?
I can't imagine it would be very profitable. However, it is hard to start a forum and if a team started a couple, then the team could help populate it and get it started.
