Hello, I have a question about starting up a website. I want to try to sell products/services. Do you guys have some tips what the best ways are to build up a site for organic traffic (SEO)? I know it will takes much time but i have alot of time. My problem is that i don't exactly know to start building up a site to sell affiliate products/servics. Cheers, Kris
First thing you need to do is pick a product/service to sell .. no one can really help you with that. Something that interests you and pays well. There are thousands of affiliate programs online, (you can check out some of the programs on my website.) Then you need to research keywords that people use when looking for this product/service after you have that you purchase a domain with that keyword or something similar and begin to build your site with useful solid content... (this takes time to build it) after your site is done the hard part is to market it and drive traffic to it. check out some of the posts on how to drive traffic ... hope this helps
What is your passion or hobby? It is always easier to sell something if you know alot about it. It also helps to write content or articles about the topic.
Well one of my hobbies is music but i run a little audio related blog but it's not earning well. Just some little adsense earnings. I gonna give it a try with another niche. I'm not a very good writer in english because my native language is dutch. Maybe hiring a content writer would be an option ? What do you think is better fo sales a blog or a product based website ?
